Braces

My son Logan is finally getting his braces off today.....it's been almost 3 years. So he is totally pumped....I guess he will have to do retainers for a while.....he is looking forward to the day when he is completely done with the dentist. He wants to eat a carmel apple! =)  I didn't know he liked them that much but I guess if you have been deprived for 3 years you just want one. Landan my 9 year old got a new bike and has been riding it all the time.....he also is getting to play in a short baseball league. He is really excited because it is his first time on an official team. He even gets a uniform! His first game is tonight!

Update on Building

Our building just keeps moving along. It doen't seem like much is getting done but in fact lots of things are being accomplished on the inside. Electricians and fire sprinkler guys are progressing nicely. The stucco guys are almost done which means the outside should be painted fairly soon which means the tile roof will be going down. Yeah! We still are estimating the middle of July for sheetrock. Yes! Spending lots of money! =(

Freedom Christian School

We had a great cruise last week. All the graduates thought it was a blast. No poblems....yeah The best part of the cruise was that it was all inclusive. I didn't have to cook or clean anything....Diane loved it too. It seems at our house with 6 kids we are always cleaning, cooking, doing dishes and taking out the trash. Friday night will be our first ever graduation ceremony......it is going to be awesome! I can't believe we have had the privledge to help 7 kids through High School! Diane has done an incredible job! She also has helped several of them get enrolled in college. Hopefully 4 years from now we will have some college graduates!

Memorial Day

Remebering our vets today! I thank God for the men and women who have served our great nation. Many get no respect and have lived their life in pain and agony from putting their lives on the line for you and me. Many have given their life for us. They have paid the ultimate price for you and me. Reminds me of what Christ has done for us all. Have a great day in the land of the free and the home of the brave!!!!

Field Trip

The trip today was awesome....no problems at all. I'm really proud of our students. We are seeing big changes in some of their lives both academically and spiritually. Like they say with some we will never know the difference we are making. I thank God for the chance to influence their lives for His Kingdom.

Internet Woes

I got home from youth a little while ago and saw that the internet was up...ye ha....it had been down when I tried to blog earlier today. Youth was good again. I got to preach. We had right at 60. Freedom Christian School's last day is tomorrow....yeah. Next the graduating class go on their trip....A Cruise....I get to be a adult volunteer. =) Not sure about blogging on a cruise ship? Hope I can!

Wow I have done 220 blogs! You have made 120 comments! Thank you for reading my blog I hope it is an encouragement to you. I hope to do them for a long time. I was talking to the contractor about our building project today. He said with a little success we could be ready for drywall by the middle of July. How cool is that! Then a couple months to finish. About the first of October.....then about 4 months finish work. So that would mean we could open around the first of Feb.  Wow that doesn't seem that far away since we have been waiting so long already. I still am hoping for December and being debt free. Both seem impossible.....but the bible says nothing is impossible for God. =)

Happy Mother's Day

If you are  a mom I hope you had a great day. One thing for sure about our culture is that it is changing. It used to be that Mom's were loved and adored by all. That's not the case any more. Lots of moms have made poor decisions and there kids are upset  about it.  For every good mom story there is a bad one. We need Jesus in America more than ever before! The family needs Jesus at the center of their relationships. If you have issues with your mom forgive her and move on....be the one to bring healing to your relationship. God loves it when we are grace oriented!

Blessed

I was blessed toady with the oppurtunity to pray at Toltec Elementary. A small group met in a classroom and celebrated the National Day of Prayer. I'm blessed that our government actually did something good for us believers. It provides me the chance to be at a public school and pray! I left there and went Freedom Christian School and prayed again. Then tonight at the Community Center I will get to pray again. WOW! This is a blessed day! I'm blessed to be a pastor! Please pray for our Nation!

The Good and the Bad

The good news is that one of our men gave their life to Christ yesterday. I'm so pumped about it. I still think the biggest miracle of all is when someone gets saved. The Bible says all of heaven rejoices when one sinner repents.....I still have a smile on my face just writing about it. The bad news one of our people loss there house to a fire yesterday. Very sad. They seem to be doing really good....people have already came to their aid...some neighbors, some family, some friends and some from the church. I spoke with them briefly and offered to help in any way needed. I want to tell you know matter what happens in life God is always there.......always!!!! Please for both of these people!!!!!
