So much of life is made up of our attitude. You can make a good day bad or a bad day good. The bible says count it all joy. Some days just don't feel to joyful. We have the choice in every situation how we are going to respond. I'm so thankful for the Holy Spirit who lives inside of me....my responses have mostly been different over the last 14 years. Sometimes Diane is like....how do you just stand there and take it...those people are totally out of line. I know in some situations my fleshly response is not going to help...haha if you know what I mean. So my attiude towards the situation is important....and my attitude towards the person is even more important. Lord help me with mercy and grace....help me extend it as I have reeived it from you.

My wife Diane is an incredible person. I'm reminded of that daily. She is beautiful inside and out. She has to put if with a lot of outside interference. She is a pastor's wife...mother of 7 kids from 3 months old to almost 18...she is the school director for Freedom Christian School...she tutors college students...she leads worship on Sundays...she helps with our childrens ministry planning...she counsels people....fixes dinner...washes clothes cleans house and a host of other things and still has time to take care of me. I'm so blessed to have her as my wife! We have been dating for over 21 years! WOW! Our marriage is constantly under attack and we need your prayers. The greatest thing we have is a commitment to each other that we are going to stay together no matter what.....it's similar to the commitment I made to Christ....no matter what I'm not quitting!!!

I'm so glad we have a building. When I drove up today I was reminded of how fortunate we are. Alot of buildings were put on hold or were half completed during this down swing in the economy. God supplied the finances and people to see our project through completion. Now we just need to fix up the outside. We are working on doing the landscaping right now and have a man doing some stuff on the inside. We have had a few small issues on the inside that need the attention of a handy man. The major part we have left is the concrete. We need to pour about 200 yards of parking lot, curbs and sidewalks. The part that has been challenging is keeping the budget in order. We are down to about $15,000. We need around $30,000 to complete everything that is required of us. So we are still trying to use volunteer help as much as we can and wait until our account builds up to spend it. The building has allowed us to grow.....we are averaging 225 so far this year. One of the things we have noticed is that once people start attending regularly they start giving. It usually takes from 6 months to year for that to start happening. So our finances should continue to get stronger. I'm so glad we have a building!!!!

The guy who is butchering some of the animals for us already has some done. I'm off to Coolidge to pick it up. It has been such an amazing thing to see how God has brought so many peole together. There is no way to do things like God does them. I'm just glad that I have a small part in it. I love it that Freedom Assembly gets to hear all the great stories of how God uses us to help His Kingdom......not just our church. We are called to be so much more than just a place where the Christians hang out. So Home of Hope will get there first delivery today. Then more to come with a total of five animals again.

The kids did really good this year. They didn't have that great of a show....but we knew that last October...we bought steers from my dad....not show steers. So we were hoping to make a good profit. Morgan and Logan both got three dollars a pound and Landan got two fifty. That is reaaly good they should all make around $2000. They did really good at the fair and worked hard to try and sell their steer to someone. Saturday morning they cleaned the pens, washed their calves, and tied them so they couldn't lay down so people could see their animals. When my kids are happy I am happy. Thanks for all your prayers and support!

I am starting to like Thursdays more and more. The school is gone today on a field trip so it's really quiet in the office. I think I might be able to get something done. I hope to be ready for the next two Sundays after today. The fair is all next week. We are doing the church service again at the fair. It is going to be awesome. It just keeps growing. I hope someone gets saved. So after today I'm not officially back in the office till the 21st.......yeah me!
