It is so important to have a balanced life....not to high not to low ....not to busy not lazy....not to stressed but some stress. It seems lately we have had the fast forward button pushed down. And the pause button is almost to be pushed! I think in the ministry it's really easy to get out of balance and then everything seems to spin out of control. So at some points you have to say no to things, sleep in, leave the office early, go in late. Oh yeah...just don't go in at all....wow what a concept. Many people say ministers have it easy....I said the same till I became one. I was in business before I was a pastor and my life had a lot more balance....I was in complete control of my schedule every single day! Plus I didn't have 250 people to take care of. It was just one customer at a time. One septic tank to put in...one trench to dig.... So it was easier to find balance....now I have to work hard at putting balance in my life!!!!

Sometimes though PL a person can have more than one customer wanting their trench or sofa or concrete or cable or bookwork or car fixed the same day. Your key word is "NO". Just put your tongue on the roof of your mouth and for this part it may help to look in the mirror and practice, shape your lips in a circular shape like an O and now push the sound out. HAHA!! Vacation coming soon PL !!

Great advice! Love this post and wish more people put it into practice. Oh yeah, let me rephrase that.... I need to put this in practice more often. Thanks for the reminder.
