Church Life

Met with a pastor friend yesterday and talked about church life. So many people are missing the point of church. Church is for everyone not just the saved people. We should be doing everything we can to get people to know Jesus. Yet not do anything that contradicts His Word. We should "WORK" at it. God should encompass every part of our life. People should see the church as a positive place...an encouraging place aa joyful place. This can all happen and still preach that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God! Preach repentance! But yet preach the joy of the Lord too. The biggest thing ever is GRACE...we need churches to give grace to people....help them get back up when they fall and not kick them a few times while their down.....teach and correct....pray and encourage! Church Life would be a lot better and more people would see what is going on and want what we have! 

Office

The office computers were out today. So here I am at home. The family is going to have a huge dinner with the in-laws and Morgan's boyfriend!  I can smell it cooking right now and my stomach is growling....so bye!!!!!!

Big Bro and Family

My older brother and family got here Wednesday night and left yesterday afternoon. It was totally awesome to spend time with them. It is amazing how you reconnect when there is no distractions. Lane and his family are usually going fast and furious when we go to visit in MO....but here they had nothing to do but hang out.  That made it really really nice! We even went to a Diamondbacks baseball game.

Look Out Driving World

Logan got his drivers license yesterday! So now all he wants to do is drive....some where anywhere...lol  Also he wants to buy a truck. He wants a four wheel drive Chevy. Of course all he can talk about is putting on a lift kit and big tires. I'm not sure how long we can keep him driving his sisters car but the longer the better. So now that makes two drivers on the road! It is hard to believe!!!! I must be getting older!! 

My Big Bro

Well my brother is coming into town this week. This is his first trip to see where I live. It has been 10 years since we moved here and I'm really excited that he is coming. He is bringing his whole family, too. We got some plans to have fun! I like having fun it is what makes life worth living! So go have some fun!!!!

Whirlwind

Wow my life seems like it is going by way to fast lately. It doesn't help any when your son turns 16. It seems like just yesterday he was this playful little toddler. Now at 16 he is almost as tall as me and a super talented young man. We spent a few days together last week....just me and him...no Mom or 6 siblings..we had a great time. This week my older brother is coming to town for the first time since we moved here 10 years ago. Really looking forward to it. Then one free week before school starts....wow and summer is gone! Also today is my beautiful wife's birthday....and that makes think about how fast time has gone by. On the 24th we will have been married 20 years. So guess what....I'm going to on purpose try to slow down!!!  Atleast have the whirlwind die down a little bit!!!!
