Great Giveaway Update

Well the Great Giveaway was....well....great! haha We served over 400 people and had about 80 volunteers. It went pretty smooth. This was the first year that we had some people abuse our generosity. We had a family who decided none of them new each other so that they could get 7 packets. Which equates to 7 big items. What do you do? We just told our people we let God deal with it....people are people. Next year we will have a better system in place for the big items. We ended up with a pick up load of stuff left and part of it will end up in Mexico the next time Lloyd goes down ther. It is so much fun to see the church come together and do this huge event....Thanks everyone!!!!
