Crete and Anniversaries

Well today was two celebrations!!!! The first one was early this morning when the concrete was poured for the last bit of curb! We are finally done with that part. The rest of the flat work will take about 350 yards of concrete. Yes that's a lot....especially if you multiply it by $80. That is $28,000 worth of hard work and labor. At the end of the project it is going to look and hold up for a long time. No sealing and repainting lines every year like with asphalt. The second celebration was 44 years of marriage for my in laws. What an awesome accomplishment! I'm so proud of both of them. They have been a blessing to me and Diane. In March Diane and I will have been together for 22 years. I can't believe time goes by so fast. I'm really happy I don't have to get up early in the morning to pour concrete. Finally a true day off.....well almost....we have a conference starting tomorrow night for young men that lasts through Saturday at 3pm. Maybe next Friday i will get a true day off!!!!!
