Visionary....

As the new year gets started I have been thinking  a lot about vision. I heard the statement about a pastor the other day...he's a visionary....so I thought what's that? I looked it up in the dictionary...and the Leroy definition or short version is dreamer. He dreams about what things could be..tells people about them...and then that's it. As I dug a little deeper I found two words together called Visionary Leader. That means a person who is a dreamer, who talks about and then goes out and does something about it. That is where the church is falling short we need Visionary Leaders. The pastor I hear about whowas a visionary has a big dream for his church but after several years doesn't have much to show from it. He needs to become aVisionary Leader. And I hear this over and over about pastors. We should be the hardest work people on earth because we have the greatest message to share with the world. So lets not just have a dream but lets work at seeing it become a reality!!!!!
