Tonight at the Mosaic we took some time and reflected on our connections with others. I don't know what God has all up His sleeve but we have been seeing week after week God absolutely challenging us in huge ways. It has been really incredible.
So tonight I got done with this message and to sum it up the challenge for us was to discover the beauty in others around us. Not only to those who love us back...But we took time and focused on how we can love those who don't return that love. We had just a ton of you who committed to discovering the beauty in the people around them. I had us find a leader and say the name of the person they need to discover the beauty in out loud and then I challenged us to find that person and begin the discovery process. It ended up being a real powerful time. I didn't think it could get any better.
Than God blew my mind.
I had one of you come up to me after the service and tell me the most amazing story. God had challenged her in such a real and intense way that she couldn't not react to that challenge God gave her. She immediately left after service and walked to the persons house who God laid on her heart to discover the beauty in and spoke to that person face to face and let them know that she believed they were a beautiful person. A bad relationship was changed because she had the courage to take the challenge God gave her and step up to the plate and not just talk it but live it out.
I admire her courage. I pray that I can live that kind of bold faith.
