NEXT WEEK Pastor Travis will begin his final series as the youth pastor at the Mosaic! We are going to be taking his final two weeks and taking some time to REMEMBER everything God has done in the Mosaic and to hear Pastor Travis' heart for every one of you Mosains!

WOW tonight was incredible at the Mosaic! We got real about dating and so many of you stepped up to the plate and made some pretty big commitments. Many of you have made a stand to not date until you're 18 to save yourself for your future husband or wife. Some of you decided it was time to rethink the relationships you were in. Some of you decided to save your heart and no longer give it away. Incredible. I hope you know how proud of you I am!
Here's key thoughts to remember from tonight:
- Who are you? You are a child of God and your body is a temple. That makes you so valuable!
- If you value yourself you will protect your body not give it away freely
- "Boy you better get your hands off my temple!"
- Is it lust or is it love? Lust is when you turn someone into something.
- Love is not about you. Love is always about the other person.
- Love is not an emotion. It is a choice. When things are good, you choose to love. When things are bad you can choose to love.
- Want to know if it's love or lust? Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-6!
- Do you see yourself marrying them?
- Song of Solomon 2:7 - Do not awaken love until the time is right
- Save your heart!
My prayer is that you all will experience the mystery of love to the fullest and in the right way. God has a perfect soul mate for you and if you save your heart it will be absolutely incredible. You all rock my socks off!

Tonight was incredible. So amazing to see teenagers who are deciding to make a stand and move beyond just being a Christian to truly following after Jesus Christ. Here are a few highlights from our time tonight at the Mosaic.
- Worship is not meant to be only words that roll off your tongue it is meant to be something that springs from deep within your soul
- Worship should not narrow our vision so we only see ourselves instead it should broaden our vision to see the needs of others
- If we sing some songs at church but leave and walk by all the injustice in the world, we are not worshiping...We are making noise.
- Be consumed by worship, not consumers of worship
- God is not after people who only sing worship. God is after followers who live worship.

Jena and I are so proud of all of you. Keep going and don't stop. God has dreams for your life that would blow your mind and the only one who can stop those dreams from happening...is you. We love you all!

Tonight we started our new series at the Mosaic called "Don't Be A Christian". I have been so stoked for this series and again God blew me away as usual.
Tonight we looked at what Jesus' thoughts were towards religion and what He is wanting from us and this relationship we are to have with Him. It's kind of a weird thought that Jesus did not come to this earth to start a religion. He didn't die on a cross so that we can call ourselves Christians and feel comfortable about our eternity. Jesus came to start a movement. Jesus came to create followers.
And tonight we searched our souls and asked the question "are we Christians or Christ Followers?". Do we just believe in God? Or are we truly pursuing Jesus on a daily basis? Has Jesus' sacrifice become your eternal insurance policy or is it bigger than that?
Jesus is calling us individually and as the Mosaic to something bigger than ourselves. Jesus is not calling us to just be Christians. He is calling every one of us to follow Him.
Tonight was incredible. I am so proud of all of you and how so many of you made a stand tonight to move beyond religion and truly follow Christ with everything we have.

Wait. What?
Don't be a Christian? Isn't that like the exact opposite kind of message you are supposed to hear in church? Jesus wants us all to be Christians right?
Or does He?
Starting next week, the Mosaic will be looking at what Jesus' thoughts might be towards Christianity today and the movement that Jesus is calling all of us to join.
What if Jesus were to say "Don't be a Christian"? What if He is saying that to everyone who claims that title? Come and explore this question next week only at the Mosaic!
Tomorrow night at the Mosaic we are starting a new series called "GLOW".
What do mountain tops, torn curtains and glow sticks have to do with God and this spiritual journey we are all on?

Tonight we started our journey of bringing sexy back and it was incredible!
Have you ever wondered why the world is the way it is? Did you know that it wasn't always this way though? That at one point there was no crime, no poverty, no injustice. It was perfect, the way God intended it to be.
From the get go, God has desired to have a perfect connection with his creation. And for our other connections with ourselves, each other and the earth to flow out of that perfect connection.
The next few weeks we are going to tackle those other connections but tonight we focused on our connection with our creator. Because until we are connected with Him the way we should be, those other connections will not be what they should be.
Remember that sexuality is all about connection and our spirituality is the exact same. You can have sex but not be sexual at all and you can go to church and not be spiritual. Because it's all...about...connection.
